When you purchase a training course at kravkompetens.com, you will receive immediate access to the course in your account (an account is created automatically if no existing account is registered with the provided email address).

Must be done one week before the start date to avoid being charged.

4. Payment Methods

Card payments are processed in accordance with current regulations for online payments in Sweden and the EU. We use the Stripe card payment solution. We accept the following cards: Visa and MasterCard. The funds are reserved on your account at the time of order. All transactions are sent via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and are therefore encrypted. No card numbers are saved.

About Lift Training

According to Regulation 2023:11, only a person with proven theoretical and practical knowledge of safe use is permitted to operate a lifting device. The employer must maintain documentation of the employee’s knowledge, and the employee must also have the employer’s written authorization to operate a lift. According to the comments on Section 29 of the regulation, the Swedish standard provides guidance on the content of training for operators of mobile work platforms, in accordance with standard SS-ISO 18878:2013 Mobile Work Platforms – Training for Operators.

 

Law & requirements

Lift training according to the Lift Learning Plan (LLP) is based on the Swedish standard SS ISO 18878:2013 Mobile work platforms - Training for operators (drivers). Refresher training and re-examination are important elements of this standard. The standard was published in a new version in 2013, where the requirement for refresher training and re-examination every five years is even more explicit than in previous versions of the standard.

Who is lift training aimed at? (mobile working platform)

The training with both theory and practice is designed for those who regularly work with lifts. Lift training is aimed at anyone who needs to use a lifting device, such as a boom lift, scissor lift or skylift. Whether you are a driver, site manager or supervisor of a driver, you must have knowledge of lifts and the requirements set by the Swedish Work Environment Authority. This is to meet the requirements for safe use.

After lift training

Our training gives permission to use both scissor and boom lifts and includes certification. By passing the tests included in the training, the participant receives a certificate. Authorised lift instructors issue a training certificate valid for five years. If a person chooses to take a refresher training course and passes the re-examination, they will receive a new training certificate with the same five-year validity.

Everyone who comes into contact with lifts in their work must undergo lift training. This applies not only to the person who will drive the lift, but also to supervisors, site managers, safety inspectors and others at the workplace who need information about lifts and their impact on the working environment.

The certificate is valid for five years. After that, it is recommended that you attend a short refresher course to renew your knowledge.

AFS 2006:6 § 29 requires that the person has proven theoretical and practical knowledge of safe use. The employer must have documentation of the employee's knowledge, and the employee must have the employer's written permission. Swedish standard SS-ISO 18878:2013 provides advice on the content of training.

Upon completion of the training, the participant receives a certificate by passing the included tests. Authorized lift instructors issue a training certificate valid for five years. Upon successful completion of refresher training and re-examination, a new certificate is issued with the same validity.
