Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites, but it is advantageous to have an upper secondary education from the electrical program or similar such as BB1 or an older education in electricity and telecommunications. If you have long practical experience as an electrician, this can in some cases compensate for a lack of newer theoretical knowledge. When you apply for Authorization AL at the Electrical Safety Authority, knowledge requirements also apply to the practical part you receive from us after you have completed the theoretical training.

How does the training for El Authorization AL - General Authorization work?

• E-learning: the training is carried out online via our e-learning platform. The digital platform allows you to study at your own pace, providing maximum flexibility. You can pause and resume the training at your convenience. The sections are pre-recorded and after each part there are sub-questions and the training ends with a major final test. The course material is included digitally which you have access to throughout the course and also after the course.

You only need to bring your ID and a pen. Choose locations such as Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö or Piteå. We have locations around the country and are constantly expanding locations. Structure and duration of the training

• The course consists of various modules that you can complete through our e-learning portal at your own pace.
• Each section ends with practice questions to test your knowledge, and each submodule concludes with an exam.
