Target group
The course is aimed at those who are not skilled in electricity and will be working where there is an electrical hazard. This may include sanitation workers, signalling engineers, builders, preparers, excavators who are in the vicinity of an electrical installation or others who need to work in the operating rooms of distribution plants or industry. Instructed Person in Electrical Safety is also aimed at those who will be carrying out any kind of non-electrical work in an electrical installation and need to understand how electrical safety work is organised and become aware of the electrical hazards that may be present. Examples of non-electrical work include building work, painting, mowing, cleaning, groundwork, etc.
