 About fire safety training

This e-learning gives you the basic knowledge you need to understand how fires start, how they can be prevented and how to act if a fire occurs. The course meets the requirements of the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations and is suitable for all workplaces where there is a risk of fire - which is most. The course is easy to complete, fully web-based and requires no prior knowledge. You have unlimited attempts at the final exam and receive a digital certificate after passing. Registration in the ID06 Competence Database is included free of charge.

Law on protection against accidents

Online fire safety training is not only an investment in safety - it is also a way to ensure that you meet the requirements of the Law on Protection against Accidents (2003:789). This law requires businesses to take reasonable measures to prevent fires and limit damage in the event of an accident.

The training provides you with practical and concrete tools for preventing fire risks, working in a structured way with systematic fire protection work (SBA) and creating procedures that protect both people and operations. You will learn about MSB's regulations (SRVFS 2004:3) and how to design internal fire protection plans. We also go through how to act quickly and correctly in case of fire: from alerting and evacuation to safe handling of extinguishing equipment. The course also includes elements on handling lithium batteries, which are a growing fire risk in modern work environments.
