EvA Industri: Electrical Safety in Industrial Work E-learning
Ensure the right skills for working on electrical systems in industrial settings
EvA Industri Electrical Safety in the Workplace is a modern e-learning course that provides electricians, industrial electricians, maintenance personnel, and technicians with the theoretical knowledge required to work safely on or near electrical installations in industrial settings.
The training program is based on SS-EN 50110-1, Edition 4, the Swedish Work Environment Act, and established industry principles for the safe operation and maintenance of electrical installations. Particular emphasis is placed on the risks and work methods encountered in industrial, process, and production environments.
After passing the final exam, the participant will receive a digital course certificate.
Background
Industrial electrical systems are often complex and include everything from low-voltage installations and control systems to motor systems, variable-frequency drives, and automated production lines. Furthermore, much of the work is carried out in facilities that are in operation, which places high demands on planning, risk assessment, and proper work methods.
According to the Work Environment Act and the SS-EN 50110-1 standard —Operation of Electrical Installations— the employer must ensure that personnel working on or near electrical installations have sufficient knowledge and the appropriate skills for the task.
EvA Industri has therefore been developed to provide a practical understanding of how electrical safety work is carried out in modern industrial environments.
