Fire Safety Officer / Inspector distance learning
About Remote Fire Safety Officer
Systematic fire protection - a legal requirement for all companies
All workplaces are subject to the requirements of the Act on Protection against Accidents (2003:778), which means that systematic fire protection work (SBA) must be carried out. A key part of this is to appoint a fire protection officer - a person who has overall responsibility for ensuring that fire protection is planned, implemented and monitored.
The fire safety officer is responsible, among other things, for ensuring that procedures and controls are in place, that fire safety equipment is checked regularly and that staff receive regular fire safety training. The aim is to prevent fires and create a safe and secure working environment.
A crucial role for security
By appointing a competent fire safety officer, your business can quickly identify risks, develop effective protective measures and respond to any incidents. Should a fire occur, a clear and well-established fire safety plan can be crucial to minimize damage to both people and property.
