Target group
Drivers of road maintenance vehicles, including vehicles used for planning and design purposes, as well as providers of transport services, must have APV 1.2 in addition to general basic competence. The web training presents, among other things, laws and regulations that apply to people who perform road work and how these rules should be applied to different types of work. You will also develop an understanding of the risks that can occur during road works and how these can be prevented to make you a safe employee.
Examples of drivers of road maintenance vehicles are those who:
- drives a road maintenance vehicle on a road works site, such as a passenger car, light truck, lorry, tractor, wheel loader, excavator, road roller, asphalt paver
- Ploughing, salting and sanding.
- Transporting, earth, gravel and paving materials.
- Uses service vehicles and carries out design work.
- Carry out intermittent work on low and standard class roads.
- Traffic guidance, power tools and tractors used in e.g. excavation or paving work
