Who is the Safe Lift online course for?
Since 2007, the Swedish Work Environment Authority has set strict requirements for those who handle lifting devices and lifting gear. This includes crane operators, load couplers and signalmen. With our Safe Lifting training, participants gain the necessary knowledge to ensure a risk-free working environment and prevent accidents. It is important to understand that handling lifting devices requires not only knowledge but also documented training and driving licenses.
Written permission needed for the job when using lifting devices
The use of lifting devices requires a written authorization. All workers and contractors must have this authorization from their employer. This authorization specifies which lifting devices and tasks are allowed. By completing our Safe Lifting course, participants receive a digital proof of competence immediately after completing the course.
" An employer who allows an employee or temporary worker to use work equipment in accordance with section 15 shall have documentation of the employee's practical and theoretical knowledge with regard to the safe use of the equipment. A worker who is not covered by the first paragraph but who uses work equipment in accordance with section 15 at a shared workplace shall have the corresponding documentation available at the workplace."
