APV 2.3 - Protective equipment manager (Online training)
About the training
This course is aimed at those who are responsible for the installation, modification and recovery of longitudinal protection devices at road works. The training is designed to meet the Swedish Transport Administration's requirements according to TDOK 2018:0371 version 2.0 and TDOK 2012:86 version 5.0, valid from September 1, 2024.
Target group
The training is aimed at road workers who have been designated by the employer to be responsible for protective devices in the workplace. The role involves ensuring the correct installation and functioning of protective devices according to current safety standards.

Prerequisites
Participants should have completed the APV Steps 1.1-1.3 included in this course package.
Type of training
The course is delivered online via our user-friendly learning portal. You can take the training at your own pace via computer, tablet or mobile.
Certification
For work where the Swedish Transport Administration is the client, you must pass the certification test for APV 2.3.
Are certification exams required at the Swedish Transport Administration?
For those who carry out work where the Transport Agency is the client, there is a requirement for a certification test at the Transport Agency for stage 2.1 and upwards

- You can book the certification tests in Road Work and Winter Road Maintenance in person via the Driver Exam website.
Logging in is done using a mobile BankID and it is required that you have a valid ID06 card registered with Trafikverket (see point 2) at the time of booking. - In order to receive the results/invoice, you need to register an e-mail address. You can do this under "My Details".

- You can choose any office and any free time from the regular hours of Driver Testing.
- A test fee will be charged; by the Swedish Transport Administration
- Payment is made by card (called "Pay now") or by invoice (called "Pay later").
- Receipts can be obtained from the Driver Examination Customer Service or on site outside the test room after you have written the test.
