Course Content – Authorization A

After completing the course, you will be able to:

Practical Laboratory Session (Mandatory Lab Day)

Please note that this course covers the theoretical portion of Authorization A and is conducted entirely online via our e-learning platform.

The mandatory hands-on lab day is not included in the course fee and must be completed separately in person during a physical training session. The lab day is a requirement for you to demonstrate the practical skills needed for licensure.

We organize lab sessions on an ongoing basis throughout the year in collaboration with an external consultant. Once you’re a little further along in the program, we’ll help you schedule a convenient time at one of the locations where the lab sessions are held.

Prerequisites

To enroll in the program, you need:

  • AL (low voltage) certification or equivalent
  • Electrical training (high school or equivalent level)
  • At least 2 years of practical experience as an electrician
